Job summary

Walsh Construction Company II, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer II for our California project team. We value problem solving, data-driven decisions, and teamwork to build strong results and lasting relationships with clients and trade partners.

Responsibilities include document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders), coordinating the project team, procurement, QA/QC, subcontractor coordination, site surveys and weekly progress photos.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a project environment.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or prior construction exposure is a plus.
• Relocation may be required for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assist and support project team with daily coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage site layout.
• Survey and project layout; weekly progress photos.
• Manage construction equipment and safety.
• Project estimating and site inspections.
