Job summary

RH2 Engineering is seeking a Civil or Environmental Professional Engineer to join our Planning/Analysis team. You will perform hydraulic modeling, develop water/wastewater plans, and contribute to project design and construction.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, interact with clients and agencies, and mentor EITs. This role supports growth and career development within a reputable Pacific Northwest firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Current P.E. license in the state of Washington (or eligible by comity).
• 4–12 years of transferable experience, preferably in public sector consulting.
• Experience with drinking water and wastewater hydraulic modeling platforms (WaterGEMS, InfoWater Pro, SewerGEMS, PC-SWMM).
• Experience with GIS.
• Strong technical writing, analysis, problem solving, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and sound judgement.
• Experience coordinating with engineers and review agencies, plus client interaction.
• Ability to assist in preparing proposals, budgets, and invoice reviews.

Responsibilities

• Support hydraulic modeling and analyses for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
• Prepare water and wastewater planning reports and technical documents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for design and construction support.
• Interact directly with clients and review agencies.
• Mentor Engineers-In-Training and support project management and BD efforts.
