Job summary

Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, located at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, seeks a Waterpark Supervisor to lead lifeguard teams and ensure safety and guest satisfaction.

You will train staff, coordinate certifications, act as Manager on Duty when needed, and oversee daily operations of the aquatic center to deliver memorable family experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard, Shallow Water Attendant, and AED certifications.
• Two years lifeguard experience preferred.
• Clear English communication required.
• Strong interpersonal and emergency response abilities.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily aquatic operations and supervise lifeguard staff.
• Coordinate trainings and ensure certification upkeep.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the Director's absence.
• Liaise with Red Cross materials, trainings, and lifeguard classes.
• Supervise Head Guards, Lifeguards, Slide Attendants, and Aquatic Center Attendants.
• Enforce facility rules, report repairs, maintain safety.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily aquatics operations.
• Perform additional duties including lifeguard or pool attendant tasks.

What will you be doing?

• Develop new materials and topics for daily training sessions.
• Provide feedback for staff evaluations and support team growth.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the Director's absence.
• Serve as the liaison for Red Cross materials, trainings, and lifeguard classes.
• Supervise and support Head Guards, Lifeguards, Slide Attendants, and Aquatic Center Attendants.
• Enforce facility rules, report repairs, and maintain a safe and clean aquatics area.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily operation of the aquatics facility.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including acting as lifeguard, water park attendant, or pool cleaner.

What do you bring to the role?

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess American Red Cross certifications: Lifeguard, Shallow Water Attendant, and Administering Emergency Oxygen.
• High school education preferred, with two years of active lifeguard experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills to assist and interact with guests, patrons, and team members.
• Capable of supervising others, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies with sound decision-making.
• Skilled in handling challenging customer interactions with patience, tact, and diplomacy.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively while supervising facility activities and maintaining safety standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
