Job summary

Inframark’s Water Operator I (Night Shift) role sits on our Operations and Maintenance team, ensuring safe, reliable water delivery for communities. You will monitor treatment equipment, perform routine tests, and respond to emergencies while supporting plant operations.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED; Water/Wastewater Operator License is preferred or willingness to obtain certification; strong mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing, sampling, inspections, and basic laboratory analyses.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair treatment equipment and instrumentation.
• Document operational data and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Respond to emergencies and support plant operations as needed.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and secure facility.

Water Operator I (Night Shift)

Join an essential team that keeps our communities supplied with safe, reliable water. We're seeking a motivated Water Operator I for our night shift operations team. Licensed operators are preferred, but we also welcome candidates with experience in process control, industrial operations, maintenance, utilities, manufacturing, or those with advanced study in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Schedule

This position requires working night shifts, including weekends, holidays, and participation in emergency call‑out and on‑call rotations.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, access confined spaces, and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
