Job Details

• Able to operate a shift unassisted and have the ability to rebuild equipment.
• A Water Operator Level B possesses a Water Operator license and 1 – 2 endorsements.
• Endorsements required for Millsboro include Distribution, Disinfection, Chemical Feed and Filtration.
• Will have 1+ years of acceptable operating experience.

Work Shift Hours

11:00 pm – 7:30 am Tuesday‑Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Operation of the water treatment system.
• Assists with compliance documentation and record‑keeping.
• Maintenance of water equipment and wells.
• Adheres to all safety requirements, including protective equipment (PPE).
• Performs process control lab work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active Water Operator license with 1 – 2 endorsements.
• 1 – 3 years of acceptable operating experience.
• DE: Recertify every 2 years with completion of 20 hours within that timeframe.
• NC: Recertify annually with completion of 6 hours of continuing education.
