Chesapeake, Inc. is seeking applicants who meet the vocational/educational requirements listed in this vacancy. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a combination of education and experience equivalent to one year of college education.

A valid driver’s license is required and driving records must comply with City Driving Standards. The role may require hours beyond the normal schedule during emergencies, and experience with water meters, hand tools, and customer-service

Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies. Emergency operations support work and work locations may be outside of normal job duties.

• Previous experience with water meters and hand tools.
• Previous experience as a customer service mechanic.
