Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Account Leader/Project Manager to drive growth in water, wastewater, and stormwater projects across upstate New York, based in Clifton Park. You will lead client engagements, coordinate technical teams, and guide proposals from planning through delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, deep technical knowledge of water infrastructure, and the ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk. Travel up to 30% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field of study.
• 15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in business development and/or project management in the water, wastewater, stormwater, resilience, and solid waste sectors.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with client decision-makers at multiple levels.
• Develop insight into local utility challenges, client needs, planned projects, market conditions, and pursuit opportunities.
• Lead pursuit plans and develop client engagement strategies and participate in task order development and interviews to win new projects.
• Coordinate with project managers to deliver high-quality services and deliverables on schedule.
• Lead project planning, design, construction administration, scope development, and cost proposals for task orders and projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subconsultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks, issues, and changes early; develop mitigation strategies and communicate impacts.
• Serve as a senior technical resource for municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, resilience, utility planning, design, construction, and program management projects.
