Job summary

SEH is seeking a Water Engineering Leader to drive planning, design, and delivery of water infrastructure across Kansas, Nebraska, and beyond. You will lead engineers and designers, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships while advancing SEH’s culture of accountability and innovation.

Applicants should hold a PE and have 15+ years in water/wastewater leadership, with a track record of growth, portfolio delivery, and cross-functional collaboration within an employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• Significant experience leading water/wastewater projects design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for planning, design, and delivery of water infrastructure projects.
• Serve as senior client partner, maintaining long-term relationships through delivery and beyond.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, setting technical direction.
• Guide development of resilient water solutions and manage project risk.
• Support practice growth through proposals and client expansion.
