Job summary

Arcadis in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join our Water Business Area. You will support design and technical tasks, assist with field data collection, and help prepare documentation for project teams and clients.

The role offers hands-on experience across water, wastewater, and industrial projects, with mentorship from our experienced engineers and exposure to multiple market sectors.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Providing technical and design support for water, wastewater, or industrial projects as part of a team.
• Performing fieldwork to support data collection.
• Corresponding with project managers, project teams, and clients.
• Developing results and documentation to share with project managers and clients at meetings.
• Growing professionally by engaging in a variety of market sectors with the guidance and experience of the existing team.
• Working on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously with the initiative and ability to take on new projects and other challenges regularly.
