Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mid-Level Water Engineer in the Omaha area, offering a hybrid work policy that blends Jacobs offices with remote work. The role involves collaborating with a talented team to deliver water-related projects across the West Central geography, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

The position requires a PE license (or the ability to obtain within six months), a minimum of six years in water engineering, and proficiency with CAD and modeling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
• At least 6 years of engineering experience in water-related disciplines.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience developing drawings and specifications, and/or with computer modeling.
• Experience writing engineering technical reports and presentations.
• Foundational experience with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience or working knowledge with Bluebeam, Autodesk and/or Bentley CAD platforms
