Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Project Director for Water Design-Build to lead multiple teams delivering water, wastewater, and water resources projects across the U.S. This role combines project delivery leadership with team development, client engagement, and opportunities for business growth.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and reporting while mentoring Project Managers and fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 12–15+ years of experience in Design-Build delivery for water projects.
• PE, CCM, or similar credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple concurrent Design-Build water and wastewater projects.
• Ensure delivery across cost, schedule, quality, safety, and contractual performance metrics.
• Oversee project execution from planning through construction and closeout.
• Drive Design-Build best practices including cost estimating, risk management, procurement, and scheduling.
• Monitor portfolio performance and address risks and variances.
