Job Summary

Coast to Coast Restoration is seeking a skilled Mitigation Project Coordinator to oversee and coordinate mitigation projects from inception to completion. This role is responsible for assessing project requirements, selling services, managing resources, and leading project teams to ensure successful outcomes. The Mitigation Project Coordinator will work closely with clients, contractors, managers, and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery within budget and scope while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Inspect, Estimate, and Sell:
  2. Conduct site inspections to assess project needs (water, mold, smoke, and fire damage).
  3. Document findings with notes and photos.
  4. Prepare project scope and cost estimates.
  5. Follow up on estimates until a determination is made.
  6. Execute job signings, spending more than 50% of time outside the primary office location.

On-Site Duties: Initial and Ongoing Project Support

  1. Serve as the primary contact with homeowners for all aspects of the EMS project.
  2. Coordinate and schedule testing, abatement, pack-out, and appliance removals as needed.
  3. Ensure technicians have required equipment and oversee daily operations for quality, efficiency, and profitability.
  4. Oversee water damage crews to ensure proper equipment usage and service quality.
  5. Conduct pre-Matterport documentation.
  6. Ensure inspection before mold clearance tests.
  7. Schedule lead technicians and/or subcontractors for required work.
  8. Create video walkthroughs of project recommendations.
  9. Utilize Mitigate, Google Photos, and management software for project tracking and daily notes.
  10. Ensure lead technicians update project documentation daily.

On-Call Assignment

Be available for emergency calls 1-2 weeks per month.

General Responsibilities

  1. Foster a positive work environment and maintain company culture.
  2. Keep work vehicle clean and organized; maintain professional appearance.
  3. Report all project issues and updates to the Mitigation Manager.
  4. Work closely with estimators, coordinators, and managers to track project costs and ensure accurate invoicing.
  5. Oversee lead technicians and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient job completion.
  6. Adhere to safety standards and manage field safety for all technicians.
  7. Assume responsibility for projects signed after hours if not on-call or if the original salesperson is unavailable.

Physical Requirements

  1. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
  2. Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and in tight spaces.
  3. Must be able to sit, stand, walk for prolonged periods and perform repetitive motions.
  4. Ability to work with and around cleaning products and chemicals.
  5. Must be able to wear a respiratory mask when required.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Experience in mitigation, restoration, or a related field.
  2. Strong project management, communication, and sales skills.
  3. Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
  4. Ability to use project management and tracking software.
  5. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
