Qualifications

• Must obtain a Grade II UT Water Operator Certificate within two years of hire.
• Must obtain a UT State Flagman's Certification within two years of hire.
• Must be certified by the department on all assigned crew equipment within two years of hire.
• Knowledge of tools and small equipment used in the operation, maintenance, and construction of drinking water system.
• Moderate responsibility for the care, condition, and use of materials, equipment, and tools.
• A one-year probationary period is a prerequisite to this position.
