Job summary

Canadian Executive Search Group is hiring a Water Blaster/Hydroblaster Operator for our client in Lafayette, Indiana. This 1st shift role focuses on operating high-pressure cleaning equipment to prep large industrial surfaces.

Hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with occasional 12-hour days and overtime. Pay is $19.00 per hour with weekly payroll, and on‑the‑job training is available for entry-level candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety-focused mindset.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and E-Verify.
• Physically able to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.
• On-the-job training available for entry-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure water blasting equipment (40,000+ PSI).
• Clean industrial parts, pipes, tanks, heat exchangers, boilers, and surfaces.
• Set up and tear down hoses, pumps, and recovery systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting on gear.
• Wear PPE, follow JSAs and toolbox talks.

SHIFT: 1st shift – days of work will vary

Job Summary

We are looking for a safety-focused Water Blaster to join our industrial Team. You will use high-pressure water systems and specialized tools to clean large industrial equipment and prep surfaces at the plant. Safety and teamwork are your top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manual and automated high-pressure water blasting equipment (40,000+ PSI).
• Clean industrial parts, pipes, tanks, heat exchangers, boilers, and structural surfaces.
• Set up, inspect, and tear down hoses, pumps, nozzles, and recovery systems.
• Perform routine daily maintenance and minor troubleshooting on assigned gear.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including full-face respirators, rain gear, and steel-toe boots.
• Follow strict site safety rules, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and daily toolbox safety briefings.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• To thrive as a Water Blasting professional, you must possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to safety protocols, and physical stamina.
  
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, physical evaluation, background check, and E-Verify.
• Physically able to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders/scaffolding, stand for long shifts, and work in confined spaces.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Prior industrial cleaning or construction experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is available for entry-level candidates.
