Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 6 months or 60 hours of practical experience of group exercise class experience.
• Must be able to lift in excess of ten pounds.

Responsibilities

• Instruct group exercise classes while ensuring safety.
• Demonstrate exercises and monitor participants.
• Record class attendance and enforce safety standards.

Skills

Strong communication skills

Ability to lead and motivate others

Knowledge of muscle groups and body mechanics

Ability to demonstrate aerobic and yoga/pilates exercises

Education

High School education or equivalent

Certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid
