Job summary

YMCA of Orange County is seeking a part-time Water Aerobics Instructor to lead engaging, safe group classes in Mission Viejo, CA. The role requires certifications in Water Aerobics or Aqua Zumba, First Aid and CPR, and a minimum age of 21. Coursework in health/fitness is preferred, with up to 2 years of related experience.

The instructor will deliver high-quality classes, uphold safety standards, and help promote healthy lifestyles within a welcoming community setting at the YMCA facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 21+ years old.
• Two- or four-year degree in health, exercise science, recreation, or physical activity-related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in aerobic/anaerobic and strength conditioning.
• Certification in Water Aerobics or Aqua Zumba required.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).

Responsibilities
