General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) is hiring a Watch Officer for the DTRA Operations Center at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role involves monitoring CWMD-related data in real time, summarizing findings, and supporting leadership taskings with timely RFI responses.

The position requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience, 5+ years in related work, 5 years in console operations for military command and control, and TS/SCI clearance. Location is Fort Belvoir, VA; travel minimal.

GDIT is currently looking to hire a Watch Officer for DTRA Operations Center. Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Watch Officer at GDIT. WHAT YOU WILL DO

Monitors, tracks, reports, summarizes, and analyzes operational CWMD-related data in real-time and displays and archives findings to support leadership taskings and RFI responses.

Monitors CWMD planning activities and provides timely RFI responses as required to support those efforts based on real-time information.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

5+ years of related work experience

5 years of experience with console operations and supporting a military command and control operation for the watch.

Prior experience with CWMD-related information preferred.

TS/SCI Clearance required

Must reside 50 miles from customer location. Position is based in Fort Belvoir, VA.

The likely salary range for this position is $96,900 - $131,100. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Travel Required: Less than 10%
