Job summary

Aquatech is seeking an Applications Engineer I to join our Canonsburg, PA office. You will review RFPs for wastewater treatment and recycle systems, prepare proposals with PFDs/HFDs/PI&Ds and GA drawings, and collaborate with drafting and testing labs to verify process performance.

The role requires a 4-year degree and 5–10 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and project coordination skills. Office hours are standard, with an exempt status.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Chemical/Environmental Engineering required.
• 5–10 years experience in similar industrial/infrastructure projects.
• Experience preparing proposals for wastewater treatment/recycle systems.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs for wastewater treatment/recycle systems.
• Prepare responses with PFDs, HFDs, P&IDs and GA drawings.
• Coordinate with drafting staff to prepare drawings.
• Perform process calculations to size treatment processes and equipment.
• Develop cost estimates and budgets for proposed systems.
• Prepare technical clarifications and deviations to RFP specs.
• Assist sales in answering technical queries from customers.
• Develop and assemble Turn Over Packages for successful proposals.
• Collaborate with testing labs for process verification and bench testing.
