This position will involve planning, budgeting, design, permitting, and construction administration for a variety of wastewater projects including improvements at the Persigo Wastewater Treatment Facility. We are searching for an individual with experience in implementing critical projects while maintaining positive working relationships with both internal and external customers.
The City of Grand Junction Wastewater Division provides wastewater collection services for about 30,000 customers. Our system ensures the safe and efficient transport of wastewater from homes and businesses to treatment facilities, helping protect public health and the environment. The Wastewater Division has a staff of dedicated employees working together in areas such as Collections Operations, Lift Station Maintenance, System Inspection, and Customer Service in order to provide excellent service to our community. Our employees are responsible for monitoring and maintaining hundreds of miles of sewer line, numerous lift stations, thousands of manholes, and the infrastructure necessary to support the City’s wastewater collection system.
