Job summary

Northern Moraine Water Reclamation District is seeking a Project Engineer / Project Manager to oversee district wastewater projects from concept through completion. The role includes report generation to the Board of Trustees and on-site construction observation.

Qualified candidates will hold a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, with strong communication skills and experience with CAD, ArcGIS, and CMMS. Salary range posted and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering field.
• Experience with municipal or industrial wastewater systems is beneficial.
• Strong written and oral communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly written and oral reports to the Board of Trustees.
• Manage in-house projects from concept to completion; oversee repair/replacement/rehabilitation of facilities.
• Conduct construction observation and manage sewer cleaning and televising work.
• Maintain accurate GIS maps of District infrastructure.
• Draft and manage permit applications for major capital projects.
