Job summary

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Plant Operator Supervisor in Washington, DC to oversee daily operations of a sophisticated automated wastewater pretreatment plant. You will ensure equipment operates properly and chemical levels stay within tolerance while following safety protocols.

Qualifications include 4+ years supervising in industrial wastewater settings, HMI/SCADA familiarity, and ABC certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years supervising operators in industrial wastewater pretreatment or chemical process plant.
• Lift and carry 50 lb bags of chemicals.
• Climb ladders and stairs to perform plant checks every 2 hours.
• Pass Respiratory Fit Testing as per 29 CFR 1910.134 (annual).
• Know how to use HMI/SCADA software for plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of an automated wastewater pretreatment plant.
• Ensure equipment operates properly and chemical levels stay within tolerance.
• Operate with PPE as required and comply with safety protocols.
• Calibrate pH and ORP meters and perform minor equipment maintenance.
• Perform cleaning of Plate & Frame Filter Presses when needed.
• Complete annual trainings required by contract.
