Job summary

E2 Federal Services, LLC, an affiliate of E2 Consulting Engineers, LP, seeks a Wastewater Operator Mechanic to perform maintenance, operation, and inspection of facility processes and utility systems. You will work with PLC/DCS/SCADA controls, monitor gauges, and document results to support regulatory compliance.

The role requires high school level education with technical training, safety certifications, and at least two years in a technical field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; basic math and written/oral communication.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and diagrams where applicable.
• Operate safely under supervision and perform journey-level maintenance tasks.
• Computer experience including email, time entry and online training.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory compliance: monitor processes, analyze data and report deviations.
• Safety: follow safety procedures and handle hazardous materials and confined spaces.
• Physical plant operations: manage wastewater, plant air, nitrogen and RO systems.
• Equipment operation: understand process flows, controls and automation.
• Maintenance: complete PMs and maintain supplies, parts and tools inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure timely project execution.
