Job summary

San Felipe Pueblo is seeking a Wastewater Operator II to support the Public Improvement Authority. The role requires operating heavy equipment (skid steers, mini-excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders up to 6CY) and maintaining wastewater treatment systems, lift stations, and appurtenances.

Responsibilities include daily plant operations, repair and maintenance, and following Foreman instructions; a Level I EPA wastewater certification is required with WW II certification pursued within 6

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold Wastewater Level I Certification and obtain WW II within 6 months.
• Experience operating heavy equipment (skid steers, mini-excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders up to 6CY).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plant, lift stations, and appurtenances.
• Assist in day-to-day operations and repairs; use tools as needed.
• Follow supervisor instructions and safety requirements; participate in training as required.
