Job summary

LIXIL Water Technology Americas is seeking a reliable Lab Technician for weekly water quality testing of domestic wastewater at our Mooresville, NC site. This part-time contract (8–16 hours/week) focuses on testing execution, sample handling, and accurate recordkeeping, with training provided.

You will measure pH, conductivity, DO, and ORP using a multi-parameter reader, prepare samples, and input results into our online database for the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Coursework toward an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in science and/or coursework in basic chemistry/laboratory practices.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable science field (biology, chemistry, environmental).
• Proven experience with hands-on mechanical equipment and troubleshooting in wastewater or water treatment environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly routine water quality testing on domestic wastewater samples following standardized procedures.
• Record observations and input data into the online database for real-time visibility to the engineering team.
• Maintain a clean, organized laboratory and adhere to safety protocols.
