Job summary

SST Direct in Orange City, FL is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians for a permanent, direct-hire position. Candidates must have hands-on electrical experience in a wastewater treatment plant or water treatment facility and be capable of installing, wiring, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex industrial electrical systems and equipment.

Pay ranges from $32–$36/hour, based on experience. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week with ASAP start.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial electrical experience.
• Hands-on electrical experience in a wastewater treatment plant or water treatment facility.
• Experience bending and installing conduit, pulling wire, terminating connections, and wiring panels.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Understanding of PLCs and industrial electrical systems.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, including voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must possess standard electrical hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Bend, install, and run electrical conduit.
• Pull and terminate electrical wiring.

• Connect wiring to breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
• Install, assemble, test, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.

• Work with and troubleshoot PLC-related systems.
• Inspect electrical systems to ensure proper operation, safety, and code compliance.
• Identify electrical hazards and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Work effectively with other electricians, trades, supervisors, and project personnel.
