Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Plant Operator for our Easton, PA facility. The role involves checking in containers, labeling and recording weights, unloading waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

The right candidate enjoys variety and can think through practical problems. We require prior warehouse experience, ability to read weights, familiarity with weighbridge systems, and comfort with PPE.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifting 50lbs to 75lbs).
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screen.
• Willingness to undergo a 7 year background check.
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights.
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work in PPE.
• Proven longevity with employers.

Responsibilities

• Check in containers and record weights accurately.
• Unload specific waste containers and operate a forklift to load an autoclave.
• Maintain quality standards during repetitive tasks.
• Follow PPE and safety procedures and work on a 3rd shift schedule.

We are looking to hire a Plant Operator for our Daniels' medical waste treatment facility in Easton, PA. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave. The ideal Plant Operator is an individual who likes variety in their work and can think through practical problems.
