Job summary

Sewer Treatment Specialist in Denham Springs, LA is seeking a detail-oriented Waste Water Treatment Operator to join our growing field team. You will operate and maintain wastewater systems, monitor performance, and keep precise records.

This role requires the ability to work outdoors, perform basic repairs, and participate in rotating on-call shifts. Prior wastewater experience is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year wastewater treatment experience (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on approach to maintenance.
• Background in wastewater treatment, construction, or equipment maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor system performance, take readings, and keep precise records.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and physical labor as needed.
• Troubleshoot and make basic repairs to equipment in the field.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Be on-call one week every 6-8 weeks.

Sewer Treatment Specialist is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Waste Water Treatment Operator to join our growing team in Denham Springs, LA.

What You'll Do:

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with regulations

• Monitor system performance, take accurate readings, and keep precise records

• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and physical labor as needed

• Troubleshoot and make basic repairs to equipment in the field

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Be on-call one week every 6-8 weeks

Who You Are:

• Quick learner with strong mechanical aptitude

• Comfortable working with your hands in a wastewater treatment environment

• Background in wastewater treatment, construction, or equipment maintenance a plus

• 1+ year of wastewater treatment experience preferred

• Waste Water Treatment Level 1 and Waste Water Collection License Level 1 preferred (not required)

Must-Haves:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Full-time availability, Monday-Friday, with rotating on-call shifts

• Waste water collection and treatment level 1 certifications PREFERED but NOT required.
