Silver King Beverage Company is seeking a wastewater plant operator to maintain the facility's wastewater treatment and RO water systems. You will operate and monitor equipment, perform routine analytical tests, and collect data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Under supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance, assist with compliance with food safety standards, and help ensure reliable plant operations.
Description
This position is an important role for maintaining operational capacity of the plant. Responsible for operating and maintaining the wastewater plants for Can Making and Can Filling, performing basic analytical tests of both wastewater and treated water systems, and collection of data for continuous improvement projects.
Responsible and required to notify management about actual or potential food safety issues; and empowered to act to resolve food safety issues within their scope of work. If this position is vacant for any significant period of time the obligation for completion of all food safety and quality related tasks will become the responsibility of the direct manager or a qualified designee.

Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
Basic computer skills in computer software applications for word processing and spreadsheets.
High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years’ experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment preferred.
