Job summary

GH Engage is seeking a Waste Water Technician to join our Plymouth, MA plant. The role involves hands-on operation and maintenance of wastewater equipment, with focus on safe, reliable plant performance.

The ideal candidate has a background in wastewater or similar industrial environments, with experience in pumps, motors, and routine instrumentation. PPE, safety protocols, and teamwork are essential in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Previous wastewater, water treatment, utilities or industrial experience is preferred.
• A good mechanical aptitude and willingness to work hands-on.
• Basic maintenance and equipment troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment.
• Complete routine plant rounds, inspections and operational checks.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and general equipment servicing.
• Assist with repairs to pumps, motors, valves and other plant equipment.
• Identify basic mechanical issues and support troubleshooting.
• Monitor equipment and treatment processes throughout the shift.
• Collect samples and carry out routine testing.
• Record plant readings, maintenance work and operational information.
• Support general upkeep of the plant and surrounding areas.
• Use hand and power tools for basic maintenance and repair work.
• Work safely around machinery, chemicals and treatment systems.
• Help ensure the facility operates safely, reliably and efficiently.

I'm currently recruiting for a Waste Water Technician to join a Wastewater Treatment Plant in Plymouth, MA.

I'm looking for someone with a strong Waste Water background who has experience working in Wastewater Treatment Plants and similar environments.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting the day-to-day operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment
• Completing routine plant rounds, inspections and operational checks
• Carrying out preventive maintenance and general equipment servicing
• Assisting with repairs to pumps, motors, valves and other plant equipment
• Identifying basic mechanical issues and supporting troubleshooting
• Monitoring equipment and treatment processes throughout the shift
• Collecting samples and carrying out routine testing
• Recording plant readings, maintenance work and operational information
• Supporting general upkeep of the plant and surrounding areas

• Helping ensure the facility operates safely, reliably and efficiently

What I'm looking for:

• Previous wastewater, water treatment, utilities or industrial experience is preferred
• A good mechanical aptitude and willingness to work hands-on
• Basic maintenance and equipment troubleshooting experience
• Comfortable working with pumps, motors and general mechanical equipment
• Ability to complete routine inspections and follow operating procedures
• Comfortable recording readings and completing basic documentation
• Able to work both independently and as part of a plant operations team
• Willingness to work around treatment equipment and chemicals

Experience within water/wastewater, utilities, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, plant operations or similar hands-on environments will also be considered.

Package:
