Job summary

Case Farms is seeking a Wastewater Operations position at the Winesburg plant. The role involves maintaining water treatment systems, monitoring the wastewater plant, performing chemical analyses, and driving a wastewater truck as needed.

Responsibilities include logging readings, reviewing meters and instruments, and ensuring proper operation of pretreatment equipment. Candidates should be 18+, able to obtain the wastewater license, and have a valid driver’s license with a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to obtain a Wastewater Operator's license.
• Valid Driver’s license and HS Diploma/GED.
• Ability to maintain equipment after training; excellent attendance.

• Monitors wastewater treatment plant and identifies needed changes and potential problems; makes necessary adjustments.
• Performs chemical analysis of water samples.
• Operates a computer to monitor pump stations, plant operations, and alarms.
• Maintains daily records and shift logs of plant operations.
• Reviews readings from meters, computers, and instruments.
• Yard jockey - drives wastewater truck.

• Ensure the Proper operation of rendering and Offal equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to obtain a Wastewater Operator's license.
• Valid Driver’s license, High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to maintain equipment after training Excellent attendance record.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Exposure consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
• Exposure to outside temperatures.
• May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
• You must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
• Must handle the weight of 8 to 10 lbs. repetitively, occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling 40 to 70 lbs.
• Exposure to chemicals used in the poultry processing facility.
• Exposure to dust, feathers and chemicals used in poultry processing facility.
• Ability to work in a stationary position, on feet for the entire shift.
• Ability to work with heavy machinery for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to climb steps and to access and egress through the production environment.
