Job summary

LRS in New Jersey is seeking a MRF Sorter to support daily recycling operations by inspecting and sorting materials on the conveyor line to ensure proper separation and removal of contaminants.

You will report to the MRF Supervisor/Site Supervisor, wear required PPE, lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and participate in safety meetings as part of a hardworking, safety‑driven team. This entry‑level role requires reliability and the ability to follow established procedures.

• Inspect and sort materials according to size, type and condition
• Keep work area and all surrounding areas clean
• Report all unsafe work conditions or equipment issues immediately to supervisor
• Attend and participate in safety meetings
• Wear required personal protective equipment at all times
• Perform other job duties as assigned
