City and County of Denver is seeking a Waste Services Operator II to join the Solid Waste Management team. You will safely operate automated side loaders and other collection vehicles, following routes through diverse city streets and assisting with maintenance tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL-B with appropriate endorsements, and the ability to work on-site with occasional overtime. Training may lead to overtime opportunities year-round.

Qualifications

• Experience driving solid waste equipment, including automated side loader, rear loader, front loader, and roll off.
• Strong safety focus and incident prevention.
• Ability to work in variable conditions and on overtime when needed.

Responsabilités

• Safely operates automated side loader and other waste collection trucks on assigned routes.
• Documents service completion and issues using route tech and tablets.
• Performs pre/post trip inspections and assists in vehicle maintenance.
