Reworld Waste in Birmingham, AL is hiring a Processing Technician to collect and process materials from client facilities. You will operate forklifts, balers, and compactors under supervision and help maintain clean, safe work areas while meeting vendor specs.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, forklift experience, strong communication, and reliability for long shifts. Benefits include health, 401(k) match, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

• Interact with plant personnel to determine needs of the local areas

About The Role

The Processing Technician is responsible for the collection and processing of material from their client’s facility. The Processing Tech takes their direction from the Supervisor or Manager when applicable. The Processing Tech will utilize various forms of machinery to perform their everyday tasks, including forklifts, compactors, and balers.

Pay Transparency

Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: 18.65 - 24.86 USD per hour
