Job summary

CWPM in Westerly, RI is seeking a full-time driver to operate motor vehicles in full compliance with DOT and state regulations. You will stay in regular communication with dispatch, perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, and complete assigned routes while ensuring on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• Clean Driving Record.

Responsibilities

• Operate MV (Motor Vehicle) safely by DOT requirements and regulations, as well as all State, Local and Federal laws.
• Maintain communication with Dispatch and Supervisor.
• Perform pre-and post-trip inspections daily of assigned vehicle, and document checks using the DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
• Follow route assignments as directed by supervisor/ dispatch and complete routes by the end of day.
• Maintain punctual attendance consistent with the company policy.
