Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Westfield, MA is seeking a Full Time Direct position responsible for cleaning and sanitation of manufactured parts in accordance with established standards. The role requires reading and understanding work instructions and strong attention to detail.

You will work with chemicals such as acetone and IPA, follow 6S procedures, maintain tanks and equipment, and complete production paperwork. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with good communication and time management

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and wear PPE when required.
• cleans and sanitizes manufactured parts in accordance with established standards.
• Follow written or verbal instructions for product specifications.
• Work with chemicals such as acetone, IPA, and solvents.
• Package, label and document product when applicable.
• Observe operations and perform regular maintenance on equipment and work area.
• Maintain tanks by cleaning and refilling as needed.
• Fill out production paperwork and inspection procedures.
• Report problems or discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain tools, gauges, and equipment in a clean, calibrated, and safe manner.
• Follow 6S procedures and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Shift availability: First or Second Shift Available
• First Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Second Shift: 3:30pm - 12:00am, 25% shift differential

• Work with various chemicals such as acetone, IPA, and solvents.

• Observes overall operation and performs regular daily maintenance on equipment and work area.
• Maintains tanks operations by cleaning and filling tank as needed.
• Fills out production paperwork and inspection procedures as required.
• Reports any problems or discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
• Maintains tools, gages, and equipment in a clean, calibrated, orderly and safe manner.
• Follow 6s Procedures and maintains a clean organized work area.

Working Conditions:

• Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust, and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts.
• May be asked to travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have ability to read applicable customer documents with or without corrective lenses.
• May have to lift up to thirty (50) pounds at a time, as required.
• Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
