Job summary

Six Flags New England is seeking team members for the Washdown crew in the Hartford area. The role focuses on keeping midways and patios spotless from the start of the day, ensuring a safe, clean park experience for guests.

Pay starts at $16.10/hour. Responsibilities include litter removal, sweeping, washing surfaces, and supporting Park Services. Must be available for early shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete tasks with little supervision and work independently.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
• Able to work shifts beginning at 5am.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to meet physical demands including walking long distances and standing for long periods.
• Must communicate in English (read, speak, understand).
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Identify and react to detailed areas behind the scenes and in Guests’ view to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Search for trash, cigarette butts, debris, and graffiti to be removed
• Sweep park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with broom and collect rubbish with a dustpan
• Utilize a leaf blower to clear the midways of debris
• Drive a sprayer truck to wash all park surfaces
• Scrub problem areas in the midway
• Hose down back areas and patios when necessary
• Wipe down all trash receptacles, table tops and counters
• Assist in other areas of the Park Services Department
• Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
