Job summary

Modern Machinery is seeking a Wash Rack Laborer to degrease, wash and detail equipment on arrival from the factory or after repairs. The role is paid hourly and eligible for overtime in a fast-paced shop environment.

The ideal candidate can lift 50–75 pounds, operate a forklift, and work with basic computer tools while serving customers and supporting shop operations. Benefits and growth opportunities are provided by Modern Machinery.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies, processes, procedures. Exercise safe work practices to contribute to the achievement of the company's safety goals.
• Steam clean and detail heavy equipment, parts, and components.
• Operate heavy equipment to move it to and from the steam pad and to organize the equipment yard as needed.
• Ensure the steam pad and assigned equipment is maintained and functioning safely and properly.
• Complete and submit assigned work order reports, time entry and all other paperwork daily.
• Provide janitorial support to the shop as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Sales Coordinator.

Job description

This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The Wash Rack Laborer is responsible for degreasing, washing and detailing equipment as it arrives new from the factory, upon return of rental, or as needed before or after repairs.

The hourly pay range for this position is: $23.00 - 26.00. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay.
