Job summary

Dobbs Equipment, LLC is seeking a Wash Rack Specialist & Facilities Maintenance to clean and prep our equipment inventory. This role focuses on washing, basic maintenance, and safe operation of shop tools in a busy service environment.

You will inspect equipment, document conditions, assist with repairs, and support shipments while upholding safety policies and attendance expectations. A two-year technical background or associates degree is preferred, with forklift certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or equivalent combination (preferred).
• Stay current with technical changes.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean machines and equipment.
• Inspect and perform check-out and check-in procedures.
• Maintain equipment inventory systems per standard operating procedure.
• Assist with routine inspections, minor repairs, and general maintenance.
• Work safely and adhere to safety policies and company standards.
• Overnight travel less than 5%.
• Participate in training programs as directed by the Service Manager.
