Overview
The Wash Rack Associate is responsible for safely washing and cleaning inventory. This position follows instructions and pre-established guidelines and serves as local support for the yard operations team.

Essential Functions
- Model, promote, reinforce, and reward the use of Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools to align with Vision, Values, and Mission
- Wash and clean machines, work tools, or other items to prepare for shipping, inspection, or repair using pressure washers, hoses, and cleaning agents
- Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain the wash rack in compliance with environmental standards
- Document the condition of equipment before and after cleaning, noting issues or repairs needed
- Assist with equipment demonstrations and loading/unloading of equipment
- Complete and stay up to date on monthly safety trainings
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Work safely and comply with all safety policies and company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned, including support for the yard operations team

- General knowledge of machines and their operations
- General knowledge of pressure washer usage and maintenance
- Excellent attention to detail

- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Quality control skills to evaluate cleanliness of assets
- Equipment selection skills to determine tools and equipment needed
- Ability to adjust machine/vehicle controls to exact positions
- Ability to read, listen, and understand information in writing and speech
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One or more years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred
- Supervisory Responsibilities: None
- Travel: Some overnight travel is required
- Valid Driver's License
Physical Requirements
- Extended periods on their feet
- Ability to exchange accurate information in communications
- Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
- Prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, crouching, and twisting
- Frequently move materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders independently
- Ability to respond to alarms and instructions and visually inspect work
Work Environment
- Outside work around moving parts with potential exposure to weather extremes
- Noise may be loud at times
- Exposure to chemicals, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment
- Requires wearing appropriate PPE
- Spends significant time in confined spaces and/or high places
- Often works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
