Primus Aerospace invites students from Warren Tech to explore entry‑level opportunities in precision manufacturing. You will gain hands-on exposure to CNC mills and lathes, learn to read simple blueprints, and use calipers and micrometers to verify parts.

No prior professional CNC experience is required; you will learn from seasoned machinists and safety-conscious professionals while building a foundation for a long‑term career in aerospace manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently completed Warren Tech machining or related program.
• Interest in CNC machining, manufacturing, or aerospace.
• Basic knowledge of machining concepts and shop safety.
• Comfort using basic hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Willingness to learn and receive hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Learn to manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.
• Perform basic part inspections and verify work meets specifications.
• Learn from experienced CNC machinists, programmers, and manufacturing professionals.
• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Gain exposure to advanced CNC equipment and aerospace manufacturing processes.
• Build skills toward future CNC setup, machining, programming, quality, or manufacturing career opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• Are currently enrolled in or have recently completed a Warren Tech machining, manufacturing, or related technical program

• Have basic knowledge of machining concepts and shop safety
• Are comfortable using basic hand tools and/or precision measuring equipment
• Have a willingness to learn and receive hands‑on training
• Are dependable, safety‑conscious, and detail‑oriented
• Enjoy working with their hands and solving problems
• Want to build a long‑term career in advanced manufacturing

Previous professional CNC machining experience is not required for entry‑level opportunities.
