Job summary

Pearson Peterbilt Group is seeking an organized, dependable individual to support our Warranty Department. Responsibilities include filing and maintaining warranty records, handling warranty claims, and managing parts and cores with both computer and hands-on warehouse work.

The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced environment across our Georgia and Alabama operations. Training is provided.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Basic computer skills; ability to learn inventory systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional appearance and customer‑service mindset.
  • Prior warehouse or parts handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain warranty records and warranty claims.
  • Pull, stage, ship, and purge warranty parts and cores; tag cores for credit.
  • Maintain indoor/outdoor warranty storage areas.
  • Report completed work and discrepancies to the Warranty Supervisor.
  • Combine computer/administrative work with hands-on heavy truck parts handling.

POSITION INFORMATION

Seeking an organized, dependable individual to support our Warranty Department. Duties include filing and maintaining warranty records; filing OTC parts warranty claims; pulling, staging, shipping, and purging warranty parts and cores; tagging cores for credit; maintaining indoor/outdoor warranty storage areas; and reporting completed work and discrepancies to the Warranty Supervisor. Position combines computer/administrative work with hands‑on heavy truck parts handling. Basic computer skills required; warranty claim training provided. Must be able to lift and move heavy truck components weighing more than 50 lbs.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs multiple times per day
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse and outdoor areas for extended periods
  • Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and various materials
