Job summary

Apex-Aridyne / Apex Mills, a U.S. based textile manufacturer in Graham, NC, seeks a Warp Hanger for SECOND shift to join our milling team. Training will begin on THIRD shift, followed by a transition to SECOND shift as you grow with us.

You will work with knitting professionals to assemble warp beams, mount beams, and ensure beams are aligned on large machines, while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to use hoist to pick up warp and transfer it to the knitting machine.
• Ability to lower and hang warp in the knitting machine.
• Ability to drive a forklift (certified).
• Pre-employment substance screening and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble warp beam sets, including checking & changing shaft bearings.
• Select and mount beams on large steel shafts.
• Apply spacers and collars.
• Load completed warped beam sets onto knitting machines.
• Check new warp to make sure all beams are lined up and collars are bolted in place.
• Make sure all end caps are tightened.
• Assist with maintaining housekeeping throughout the facility.
