Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, OH is seeking a friendly B-Lux Host to warmly greet dining guests, guide them to tables, and keep seating moving smoothly. You’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love as you support the team and ensure an outstanding guest experience.

Prior front-of-house experience and basic POS proficiency are preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with opportunities for growth and a competitive benefits package including health, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of front-of-the-house experience.
• Ability to operate a POS and phone system.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to the dining area and rotate tables as needed.
• Call out party name and number when tables are ready, in a courteous tone.
• Present menus and announce the server's name to guests.
• Assist fellow associates and management when situations arise.
• Answer telephone with proper Kalahari Resort verbiage.
