Job summary

Havenova Home Care Solutions is seeking a warm, reliable babysitter to join our Long Island, NY team. You will provide safe, nurturing care in the family home, supervise children, and support activities and routines.

The role rewards patience and strong communication with parents, with a flexible schedule and opportunities for training. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and applicants who are willing to obtain it will be considered.

Qualifications

• Prior childcare or babysitting experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with strong references.
• Patient, nurturing, and passionate about children.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Strong communication with parents and guardians.
• Must be located in or able to commute to Long Island, NY.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure safety of children at all times.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play.
• Prepare light meals and snacks per dietary needs.
• Assist with homework and reading.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Follow daily routines including naps and bedtimes.
• Communicate with parents about the day and concerns.
