Sittercity Incorporated in Katy, TX is seeking a warm, patient babysitter for our toddler, starting in September. 1–2 evenings per week, 5–8 PM; dinner will be prepared and feeding around 6 PM; must enjoy spending time with kids and be comfortable around large dogs.

A phone interview and a paid trial session will help ensure a great fit for our family and our son, who has 3 friendly dogs but no pet care duties required.

Job description

We’re looking for a warm, caring, playful, and dependable sitter for our son starting in September. Initially, we need help 1–2 evenings per week, approximately 5–8 PM. We’ll have his dinner prepared, and we’ll need you to feed him around 6 PM. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children—someone who is patient, engaging, attentive, and kind and will have fun playing with him. We also have 3 large, incredibly sweet and friendly dogs. No pet care is required, but you must be comfortable around large dogs. Our needs may eventually grow to longer days and/or more frequent care, but we’d like to start slowly and build trust and rapport. We will require a phone interview and a paid trial session while we’re home to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. We’re hoping to find someone who can become a trusted, familiar part of our son’s life—not just a babysitter.
