Job summary

MANTECH in Quantico, VA seeks an Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) to join our team supporting Marine Corps wargaming and doctrine development. You will design, execute wargames, apply OR methods, and deliver insights to senior leadership.

The role requires a strong analytical background, 5+ years in military operations or defense planning, experience with Python/R/Tableau, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Data Science, or related analytical discipline.
• 5+ years of quantitative and qualitative analysis in military operations, wargaming, or defense planning.
• Total of 10 years of experience without a degree.

Responsibilities

• You will design, develop, and execute wargames and tabletop exercises to support Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory objectives.
• You will apply operations research, statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling techniques to evaluate wargame outcomes.
• You will collaborate with military planners and stakeholders to define scenarios, objectives, and evaluation metrics.
• You will collect and analyze data from wargaming events to identify trends and capability gaps.
• You will prepare analytical reports and briefings for senior leadership.
• You will support the integration of modeling and simulation tools to enhance realism.
