Job summary

Deterco Inc is seeking a full-time Warehouseman in the South East Houston area to manage inventory, shipping and receiving, and support warehouse logistics.

Responsibilities include logging shipments, stocking items, preparing goods for dispatch, and assisting with counter sales. Forklift operation, safety compliance, and teamwork are essential to maintain efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

Warehouseman

Industrial Distributor in South East Houston is looking for a Full Time Warehouseman. This position is responsible for handling warehouse inventory, shipping and receiving, loading company truck and acting as a back up driver, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Receives, unpacks, examines and logs into system incoming shipments.
• Stocks inventory in the proper location.
• Organize and control inventory items.
• Prepares and routes merchandise for shipments.
• Assists in providing counter sales customer service.
• Operates a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Performs as Backup Driver as needed.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly follow safety rules

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Ability to operate general office equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and a great team player attitude
• Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or physical labor experience is a plus.
