Job summary

Ridout Lumber and Meek's, divisions of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Yard/Warehouse Manager to lead a large warehouse and yard in Arkansas. This role emphasizes safe material movement, receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment with a customer-first approach.

You will oversee a 15+-person team, ensure quality control, and drive efficiency while maintaining an organized, service-oriented operation for local customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 7–9 years industry experience / freight handling required.
• Strong leadership, communication and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely.
• Participate in a positive work environment.
• Assist warehouse associates and direct supervisor in maintaining an organized work environment.
• May include, emptying trash receptacles, and keeping all bays and staging areas clean and organized.
• Receive incoming products, commodities and materials.
• Provide Excellent Customer Service.
• Count and record receipt of materials.
• Stock all material received in appropriate bins or storage locations.
• Assist inventory control in counting and organizing warehouse materials.
• Operate forklift with foot and hand controls.
• May use forklift to build outgoing orders or to load completed orders onto delivery equipment
• Operate facility equipment as necessary (e.g. bander, power tools, various hand tools).
• Monitor inventory as required by location management.
• May have some logistics oversight (or act as backup).
• Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error free and damage free results.
• Responsible for managing a team of 15+ associates (direct and indirect), including hiring and termination decisions, setting goals, communicating expectations, providing performance feedback, and overseeing budget accountability.
