Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Yard Jockey/Truck Driver in our Distribution Center to move trailers, shuttle them to loads, and maintain a neat, efficient yard.

A Class A CDL and a clean driving record are required, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. This full-time position offers a 4-day work week, competitive hourly pay at $24.50, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and ongoing training

Are you a self-motivated, ambitious team-player with excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail? Do you have a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and experience driving trucks and tractor trailers? As a Warehouse Yard Jockey/Truck Driver you'll be responsible for the movement of trailers between pads, doors and buildings on a timely basis. You'll also be responsible for moving trailers around the lot and preparing them to be loaded, as well as shuttling trailers to offsite locations. Your organizational skills will be critical in your efforts to maintain a neat and orderly lot to maximize efficiency.

You’ll safely operate the Yard Truck to transfer trailers between doors and staging pads. Your attention to detail is critical, as this is a low mileage severe duty function requiring particular attention to preventative maintenance checks and services as well as actual scheduled vehicle maintenance. You’ll work on a variety of surfaces including asphalt, concrete and gravel surfaces in an environment often contaminated with material subject to embedding in tires.

• Sliding tandems to meet stage bridge laws

• Checking trailers for safety

• Other duties as assigned

Class A CDL with current medical card required. Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move boxes weighing 50lbs. or more and the ability to stand for extended periods of time. Candidates must also have sufficient strength and dexterity to control tractor and hitch full or empty trailers, as well as eye/hand coordination.
