Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic team member for the Warehouse Worker role in Indiana. This seasonal position supports receiving, stocking, order filling and inventory tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will participate in distribution, verify product details, and maintain accurate counts while following AVI policies. Pre-employment drug testing is conducted; we value a strong work ethic and reliability.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse and verify quantity and description.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped and stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories and timely distribution/receiving.
• Follow proper receiving procedures and AVI policies.
• Communicate issues of concern to management (cleanliness, safety, security).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse


• Receive products coming into the warehouse


• Verify quantity and description of products


• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped


• Stock incoming orders


• Maintain accurate physical inventories


• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner


• Follow proper receiving procedures


• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures


• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)

Requirements:

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred


• Great work ethic


• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity


• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task


• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
